QUESTIONS
ANYONE?

Do kids really need sunscreen every day?

Yep, even on cloudy days and carpool mornings. Half of your lifetime sun exposure happens before you’re old enough to drive, so SPF isn’t just for the beach. Think of it like brushing your teeth, but for your skin.

What level of protection does SPF 50 give?

SPF 50 blocks about 98% of those fiery UVB rays that cause burns and long-term damage. Translation: serious protection for serious playtime. No sunscreen blocks 100%, so reapply every two hours or after a sweaty soccer match.

Is SunKids™ good for sensitive skin?

Totally. Our 100% mineral formula uses non-nano zinc oxide and plant-derived ingredients. No parabens, silicones, or weird stuff—just happy, calm skin every day.

Mineral vs. chemical sunscreen—what’s the deal?

Chemical = absorbs rays and turns them into heat.
These are the chemical sunscreen actives such as Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, and Octocrylene. That are known to cause cancer.

Mineral = reflects rays like a tiny mirror. We use only Non-Nano Zinc Oxide.
We go mineral because it’s gentle, clean, and safe for both skin and the planet.

What makes Kakadu Plum such a big deal?

It’s the superstar of Vitamin C—the world’s richest natural source, loaded with antioxidants that help keep skin bright, strong, and ready for anything.

Do the fruit names mean scent or skincare?

Both! Blueberry and Strawberry aren’t just cute—they’re powered by real fruit extracts that feed skin antioxidants while smelling like happiness in a pouch.

Wait, is there fragrance?

Only the good kind—naturally from fruit. No heavy perfumes, just a soft, juicy scent kids actually like putting on. Natural fragrances are found on Strawberry and Peach.

How much do I need?

A teaspoon for face and neck, a full palm for the body. Smooth it in before heading out and reapply every two hours, after swimming, or after your mini-Olympian’s workout.

Will it leave a white cast?

Nope. It goes on blue or pink, rubs in clear, and leaves skin glowy—not ghosty.

Can teens use it under makeup?

Absolutely. It’s light, non-greasy, and behaves under foundation better than half the primers out there.

How long does one pouch last?

On average about 20–30 full-face uses—perfect for daily school runs, weekend games, or family trips.

Is the pouch recyclable?

Not curbside yet because it’s multi-layered for freshness, but we’re already working on new mono-material designs that will be fully recyclable. However, we don’t believe in plastic so the pouch is made of sugarcane material.

Is the pouch safe for kids to handle?

Yes. It’s made from non-toxic, skin-safe materials that meet strict safety standards.

Why not use a bottle or tube?

Because our sugarcane pouches are the superheroes of packaging—lighter, easier for little hands, take up less space, and use less plastic. Plus, they make applying SPF way more fun.

What’s the pouch made of?

It’s made from sugarcane-based Bio-PE, a renewable plant material that’s kinder to the planet than petroleum plastics.

My kid hates sunscreen. What makes this different?

It feels like lotion, smells like fruit, and doesn’t leave streaks. No stickiness, no whining—just protected, happy skin.

Can adults use it too?

Please do. It’s family-friendly and skin-loving for everyone—parents included.

What age can I start using SunKids™?

Our gentle mineral formula is perfect for ages 6 months and up, but check with your pediatrician for babies.
